Manufacturer and marketer of premium water treatment equipment has named Calvin T. Stuart, Chief Executive Officer. Previously the company's Chief Financial Officer, Stuart looks at the growing demand for quality water worldwide as opportunity for company growth.

Aquion, Inc., parent company of RainSoft, Erie Water Treatment Controls, ClearWater Tech, LLC and ProSystems,, announced today that Calvin T. Stuart, 53, has recently been named President and Chief Executive Officer of the water treatment equipment manufacturing, sales and marketing company.

Stuart originally joined Aquion in 2007 as the company’s Chief Financial Officer and had been promoted into the Chief Operating Officer role about a year ago. Stuart brings more than 20 years of senior management experience to his new role. Prior to Aquion, he served as vice president and CFO of White Hen Pantry, a major franchisor of convenience stores and was previously an executive with Motorola, Inc.



Earlier this year, Aquion announced that it had completed a successful refinancing of the company to better position the company for future growth. At that same time, the company also announced that it had changed its name to Aquion, Inc. (formerly known as AWTP, LLC).
